Quetta, February 21 (Independent Report): Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack in Bannu and expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Shehzada Gul Faraz and soldier Karamat Shah.
In a condolence statement issued on Friday, the Chief Minister said the fallen officers laid down their lives in defense of the motherland, protection of national security, and the restoration of peace. He described their sacrifice as a shining example of bravery, dedication, and unwavering commitment to duty.
“Such cowardly acts of terrorism are aimed at destabilizing the country, but they cannot shake the resolve of our nation and security forces,” Mir Bugti stated. He added that anti-state elements would never succeed in their nefarious designs.
The Chief Minister extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed that Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant patience and strength to their loved ones.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that state institutions will continue their efforts with full determination to eradicate terrorism and ensure lasting peace and stability across the country.
