Comprehensive Cleanliness Drive Continues Across Loralai Ahead of Ramazan

Loralai, February 21: A large-scale cleanliness campaign is continuing across Loralai city on the special directives of Commissioner Loralai Division Wali Muhammad, with Municipal Committee teams intensifying efforts to ensure a clean, healthy, and pollution-free urban environment.
Acting on instructions from Chief Officer Municipal Committee Mohibullah Baloch, sanitation staff have been actively carrying out daily operations in various parts of the city. Major garbage heaps were cleared from Posto Gali, Kabari Bazaar, Khalo Zone, and the area in front of New Al-Habib Hotel parking, while regular desilting of drains was undertaken to improve the drainage system and prevent environmental hazards.
Similar cleanliness operations were conducted in TTC Colony, Khalo Zone TTC Mohallah, and Hazara Mohallah in the Saleem Dad Complaint Zone, where drains were cleaned to eliminate foul odors, stagnation, and potential health risks. Municipal workers used tractor trolleys to promptly collect and transport waste from different localities to designated dumping sites, ensuring systematic disposal and sustained monitoring of the campaign.
With the holy month of Ramazan approaching, special cleaning, sweeping, and disinfectant spraying were carried out at the Sasta Bazaar to provide shoppers with a hygienic and safe environment.
District authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining the momentum of the cleanliness drive and utilizing all available resources to keep the city exemplary in sanitation standards. Citizens have been urged to demonstrate civic responsibility by disposing of waste at designated points, cooperating with sanitation staff, and contributing to the development of a clean and healthy Loralai.
