Khuzdar, February 21, 2026: Under the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Abdul Razaq Sasoli, a ceremony was held at Jinnah Stadium to distribute Ramadan ration packages among persons with disabilities and deserving individuals on behalf of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
The event aimed not only to provide aid to the needy but also to promote social harmony and solidarity. The arrangements were overseen by Assistant Commissioner Khuzdar Hafeezullah Kakr and ADC General Ilam Din Tajik. Each ration package contained essential items for one month, including flour, rice, ghee, sugar, tea leaves, and various types of pulses, ensuring transparent distribution to every eligible recipient.
Other notable attendees included Bazar-e-Sadar Hafiz Hamidullah Mengal, All-Parties Chairman Takri Bashir Ahmad Jatak, journalists Danish Mengal and Bashir Ahmad Raisani, and DC cashier Minar Ahmad Zehri. They monitored the distribution process and engaged with recipients to understand their needs and challenges.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that no deserving or disabled person should be excluded from the distribution. Recipients expressed their gratitude to the administration and philanthropists, describing the initiative as highly important and reassuring.
The district administration highlighted that such initiatives not only support the poor and needy but also strengthen social cohesion and solidarity. The Assistant Commissioner and ADC General concluded the event by pledging continued support and attention to persons with disabilities to ensure they receive ongoing assistance from government and social institutions.
