Lahore, 20 February 2026:

Babar was found abandoned in 2022 within the jurisdiction of Malir Police Station in Karachi. A responsible citizen immediately shifted the child to a nearby shelter home. The availability of data of abandoned children residing in Karachi’s welfare institutions within the Safe City system significantly assisted the search and identification process.
