Thatta: In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Friday congregational prayers, the Thatta District Police have implemented strict security measures across the district for all mosques, madrasas, and imambargahs.
Acting on the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharejo and under the supervision of SSP Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bajrani, police personnel have been deployed at religious sites throughout the district to ensure public safety during the sacred month.
Under a special security plan for Friday prayers, all mosques, madrasas, and imambargahs are being closely monitored. Checkpoints have been established at the district’s entry and exit points, where motorcycles, rickshaws, passenger vans, buses, and other vehicles are being inspected.
The security arrangements are being overseen by all SDPOs and SHOs in coordination with the SSP to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of worshippers.
