KHUZDAR, Feb 22: The Ramadan Relief Package distribution campaign remained underway in Khuzdar on the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and under the special supervision of Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Abdul Razzaq Sasoli.
As part of a province-wide initiative launched by the Government of Balochistan during the holy month of Ramadan, special assistance is being extended to deserving, disabled, underprivileged and vulnerable segments of society. On the fourth day of Ramadan, a structured ceremony was organized at Jinnah Stadium Khuzdar, where ration packages were handed over to hundreds of eligible families.
The event drew the presence of President of Anjuman-e-Tajran Khuzdar Hafiz Hameedullah Mengal, Chairman of All Parties Action Committee Bashir Ahmed Jattak, journalists Danish Mengal and Bashir Ahmed Raisani, along with Cashier to the Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Munir Ahmed Zehri.
Assistant Commissioner Khuzdar Hafeezullah Kakar and Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Alam Din Tareen supervised the arrangements, ensuring that the distribution process remained orderly and transparent.
The administration prioritized families facing financial hardship, including the poor, needy, disabled and destitute. Each Ramadan ration package contained essential commodities sufficient for a month, including flour, rice, ghee, sugar, tea and various pulses, enabling beneficiaries to manage their household needs with dignity during Ramadan.
Officials stated that the distribution process was carried out across different areas of Khuzdar through a transparent and well-coordinated mechanism. In accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the ration distribution drive will continue throughout Ramadan in all districts of the province with an emphasis on transparency.
The initiative was described by officials as a practical demonstration of the Chief Minister’s commitment to public welfare, aimed at easing the hardships of vulnerable communities during the holy month.
