Islamabad, February 22, 2026: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari extended greetings to over 500,000 members of the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association on World Scouts Day. He emphasized the critical role of scouting in the physical, mental, and spiritual development of youth and encouraged young people to focus on character building.
President Zardari urged scouts to actively contribute to creating a green and climate-resilient Pakistan while promoting a drug-free, digitally empowered nation. He highlighted the scouts’ indispensable role in emergency response and disaster management and stressed their participation in national polio eradication efforts.
Recalling the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, who recognized scouting as key to youth development, the President expressed confidence that the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association would continue to play an effective role both nationally and globally. He affirmed that scouts would remain a driving force in nation-building and community service.
