Thatta – The Thatta District Police have intensified security measures across the district during the holy month of Ramadan, with particular focus on Taraweeh prayer timings, including increased snap checking and patrols.
Following special instructions from DIG Hyderabad Range, Tariq Razaq Khan Dhariijo, and directives of SSP Thatta, Farooq Ahmed Bajrani, police personnel have been deployed at all major mosques, Imambargahs, and other places of worship during prayer hours.
Effective checking on all entry and exit points, strict monitoring of suspicious individuals, enhanced snap checks, and increased patrolling have been implemented to promptly respond to any untoward incident. SSP Thatta has instructed all SDPOs and SHOs to maintain close coordination with mosque administrations, strictly enforce the security plan, and personally remain on the ground during Taraweeh prayers.
The primary goal of these security measures is to provide citizens with a peaceful and secure environment and ensure the safety of life and property. Thatta Police remain fully prepared to respond to any emergency situation.
The public is urged to immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or the Thatta 15 Helpline and fully cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
