Anti-Encroachment Drive Continues in Quetta
Quetta, June 14, 2025 – The district administration has continued its anti-encroachment drive in various areas of Quetta. Led by Assistant Commissioner Sariab, Saad Kaleem Zafar, the operation was carried out on different roads in Sariab, removing over 40 illegal stalls, shanties, and carts.
The joint operation was conducted in collaboration with the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta, Railway Department, and district police, with the aim of clearing public thoroughfares and making them accessible. During the operation, several encroachments were removed on the spot, and some material was confiscated.
The district administration has issued a stern warning to all relevant individuals, directing them to refrain from any future illegal encroachments. The drive is part of the administration’s efforts to maintain public spaces and ensure the rule of law in the city.
