Drugs Theft Exposed at Kharkhera Customs Check Post

Uthal.June 19: A shocking incident of theft has been uncovered at the Kharkhera Customs Check Post, where narcotics worth millions of rupees were stolen from the state warehouse. The theft was discovered on the night of June 12, when a local rickshaw driver, Ayaz Ali, informed the Field Enforcement Unit Kharkhera about suspicious individuals transporting drugs in a truck.
Recovery of Drugs: The enforcement team recovered 3.608 kilograms of cannabis from a truck hidden in the bushes.
– Suspects Escape: The suspects managed to escape in a car, leaving behind the stolen narcotics.
– Investigation: Preliminary investigations revealed that the recovered drugs were stolen from the state warehouse, with signs of forced entry and tampered locks.
