On the instructions of Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, a Monitoring Cell has been established at the Governor House Karachi

Karachi (June 30): On the instructions of Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, a Monitoring Cell has been established at the Governor House Karachi in connection with Muharram. The cell will remain active under the supervision of the Principal Secretary to Governor Sindh.

The Monitoring Cell will focus on the smooth coordination of Muharram processions, majalis (religious gatherings), and public safety. The helplines of the cell are: 021-99204748, 0316-2971504, and 1366.

A duty roster for officers assigned to the Monitoring Cell from June 30 to July 9 has also been issued. Special attention will be paid to the protection of mourners and the peaceful conduct of all religious activities during Muharram.

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized that every necessary step will be taken to ensure peace and security during the holy month.
