Karachi (July 11): Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, in his message on the occasion of World Population Day 2025, described the increasing population as a serious national issue that requires immediate attention. He stated that a balanced population is essential for sustainable development, social justice, and economic stability.
He emphasized the need for collective efforts from government institutions, parents, teachers, and religious scholars to spread awareness about responsible family planning and population control.
Referring to the theme of World Population Day 2025, “Empower young people to make informed choices for a fair and hopeful world,” Kamran Khan Tessori said that under the Governor’s Initiative, several welfare programs are being implemented. These include interest-free loans ( Qarz e Hasna ) of up to one million rupees, IT training, and skill development schemes aimed at enabling young individuals to move toward a brighter future.
