Quetta: Provincial Advisor for the Department of Labour and Manpower, Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Khan Umrani, has stated that the youth of Balochistan are a valuable asset to the nation. The provincial government’s vision is to provide every young individual with quality training to make them self-reliant. On the occasion of International Youth Skills Day, the Provincial Advisor emphasized in his special message that it is undeniable that harnessing the potential of the youth is crucial for the country’s development. He added that the skills of the youth are a precious resource, and their development forms the foundation of our social and economic future. He further mentioned that equipping the youth with the necessary skills to succeed in a rapidly changing world is a priority for the provincial government. The Chief Minister’s Youth Skill Development and Overseas Employment Program is one such initiative, under which 30,000 skilled youth from the province are being sent abroad. This process will not only help Balochistan’s youth secure better employment opportunities but will also contribute to increasing the country’s foreign exchange. Additionally, institutions such as BTEVTA, Technical Training Centers, and Polytechnic Colleges are playing a vital role in training the youth in various skills. The youth of the province should take advantage of these institutions because skills are the key to success in the modern world.
