GANG ARRESTED FOR ISSUING FAKE ID CARDS TO AFGHANS

ABBOTTABAD ——-  Abbottabad Cantt Police have arrested a gang involved in the illegal issuance of Pakistani identity cards to Afghan nationals using forged documents. A case has been registered under Sections 419, 468, and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code, along with Section 14 of the Foreigners Act.

SHO Cantt Police Station, Cadet Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi, led the operation, resulting in the arrest of four individuals: Saqib, son of Javed (resident of Islamabad); Naeem, son of Abdul Jalil (resident of Kehal, Abbottabad); Sami, son of Ehsanullah (resident of Afghanistan); and Abdul Jalil, son of Khalilur Rehman.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad, Umeer Tufail Gandapur, emphasized that the Abbottabad Police maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards forgery, illegal residency, and the misuse of national documentation.
