Lahore, August 2, 2025 : Addressing a gathering in Lahore, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, leader of Tehreek-e-Bedari-e-Ummat-e-Mustafa and renowned religious scholar, said that many Islamic countries are being pushed towards economic and political slavery under US influence. He argued that sanctions and trade agreements are being used for the same purpose.
Naqvi claimed that current pronouncements regarding the recognition of a Palestinian state by countries like Britain, France, and Germany are a deceptive tactic. He stated that this is not genuine support for Palestinians but a ploy to legitimize Israel. He reminded the audience that since 1948, a Palestinian state has remained limited to promises while Israel came into power.
Naqvi claimed that in September, a nominal Palestinian state will be recognized by the United Nations to further strengthen Israel. He alleged that Trump and his supporters have brought Islamic countries to a point where they will be compelled to recognize Israel through loans, oil, and trade agreements. He stated that although national leaders may have their own agendas, decisions are being made elsewhere.
Naqvi warned that if Muslim countries comply with this alleged plan, it would be a grave betrayal of those who died in Gaza. He warned that this conflict will not be fought with weapons but through cunning and treaties
