Sanghar: In two separate police encounters in Tando Adam and Shahdadpur, two suspects were arrested in injured condition while four accomplices managed to escape. Police recovered drugs and illegal weapons from the arrested men.
According to details, Tando Adam police confronted three armed suspects near Habib Khan Goth who were allegedly preparing to commit a crime. Upon seeing the police, the suspects opened fire. In retaliatory fire, police injured and arrested Pir Bux, son of Muhammad Hussain Bhatti, while his accomplices Kamran and Ayaz fled. A 9mm pistol was recovered from the arrested suspect.
In another incident, Shahdadpur police, while patrolling along Hangoro Road, encountered three armed suspects. When challenged, the suspects opened fire. After a brief exchange, police injured and arrested Haris, son of Wazir Niazi Pathan, while his accomplices Younis alias Jhono Klohi and Sajjad Leghari escaped. Police recovered one kilogram of hashish, 100 grams of crystal meth (ice), and a revolver from Haris.
Police said search operations are underway to arrest the absconding suspects.
