Quetta, August 4: Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade, Mr. Bilal Khan Kakar, has stated that Balochistan is a key region for harnessing renewable energy. There are significant investment opportunities in the sectors of wind and solar energy, particularly in the coastal and inland areas.Speaking to a group of investors, he said that various regions of Balochistan possess vast reserves of oil and gas. In addition, there are opportunities to establish LPG terminals at Gwadar Port and the Taftan border. The government is also offering important incentives and facilities to investors in this sector.He emphasized that under the visionary leadership of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the province is determined to move forward on the path of development. He made it clear that without promoting trade and commercial activities, progress cannot be achieved.By establishing LPG terminals in different parts of the province, the energy crisis can be addressed. He said that the Government of Balochistan is playing its role in removing all obstacles to business and investment.
