MUZAFFARABAD, August 4, 2025 : Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has reiterated the commitment of Kashmiris to continue their freedom struggle while endorsing Ghazi-e-Millat Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan’s mission. He reaffirmed the long-standing objective of Jammu and Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan, reflecting the will of its citizens. The Prime Minister declared that this objective will be pursued until it is achieved and Kashmiris are committed to their freedom struggle.
In a statement issued on the death anniversary of Sardar Ibrahim Khan, the Prime Minister lauded his principled life and steadfast stance from 1915 to 2003. He highlighted Khan’s pivotal role in the Kashmir liberation movement. The leader emphasized the importance of both military and political leadership in such movements, acknowledging Khan’s effectiveness in both domains.
Prime Minister Haq highlighted a crucial moment in history, July 19, 1947, when Sardar Ibrahim Khan, despite restrictions on gatherings in Srinagar, hosted the resolution for accession to Pakistan at his residence. He stated that this resolution continues to inspire resistance and sacrifices against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
