Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand)
Like the rest of the country, a large rally was organized in Tando Adam on the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian-occupied Kashmir. The rally was led by Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam, Hunain Tariq Shahani, and commenced from Muhammadi Chowk, culminating peacefully at the Tando Adam Press Club.
The rally witnessed significant participation from DSP Tando Adam Abdul Sattar Gurgej, Taluka Education Officer Mukhtiar Umrani, Lakha Dino Khaskheli, officials and staff of the Municipal Committee, teachers, students from various schools, and local citizens.
A one-minute silence was observed to honor the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and to express moral support for their ongoing struggle. Participants carried banners and placards bearing slogans in support of Kashmir and against Indian aggression.
Addressing the participants at the conclusion of the rally, Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani and DSP Abdul Sattar Gurgej stated that August 5 symbolizes resistance against oppression and marks a dark day in the history of Kashmir. They emphasized that the people of Kashmir continue to make great sacrifices for their right to self-determination and that the people of Pakistan stand firmly by their side.
They urged the international community to take serious notice of the human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir and called upon the United Nations to implement its resolutions and ensure that the Kashmiri people are granted their legitimate right to freedom.
