Young Athletes Shine at All Pakistan Inter-Board Girls Sports Gala 2025
Lahore Board Dominates as Event Concludes Amid Enthusiasm in Islamabad
Islamabad, January 6, 2025 – The All Pakistan Inter-Board Girls Sports Gala 2025, organized by the Inter Boards Sports Committee (IBSC) under the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) and hosted by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), concluded with great success at the Pakistan Sports Board, Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium, Islamabad. The event, held from January 4 to January 7, 2025, brought together teams from 19 educational boards across Pakistan, offering a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and sportsmanship.
The gala featured competitions in badminton, table tennis, hockey, and athletics, with participants demonstrating exceptional skills, dedication, and camaraderie. In badminton, Gujranwala Board secured first place, while Lahore Board and Islamabad Board claimed second and third positions, respectively. Lahore Board emerged victorious in table tennis, followed by Abbottabad and Islamabad Boards. In hockey, Lahore Board clinched the top spot, with Mardan and Islamabad Boards achieving second and third places. The athletics competition saw Lahore Board take first position, Faisalabad Board claim second, and Islamabad and Mirpur Boards share third place. Overall, Lahore Board dominated the event, winning the title of overall champion and securing the prestigious Best Athlete award.
During the closing ceremony, Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of IBCC and the chief guest of the event, commended the teams for their spirited participation and praised the winners for their outstanding achievements. He emphasized that the gala was a reflection of the unity, dedication, and talent of young athletes across Pakistan. Chairman FBISE, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, expressed his gratitude to all participating boards, acknowledging their efforts in making the event a lively and inspiring celebration of sports. He highlighted the importance of such events in promoting the culture of teamwork, resilience, and excellence among students.
