The Transport Department, Government of Balochistan, is organizing a one-day seminar on August 28, 2025, to address the issue of smuggling in passenger buses. The seminar aims to discuss and find solutions to prevent smuggling, promoting a safer and more regulated transportation system in Balochistan.
The seminar will be held at the Sikandar Jamali Auditorium, Civil Secretariat Balochistan, and will start at 11:00 AM. Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Mir Liakat Lahri, will be the chief guest. Other prominent speakers and participants include Secretary Transport Balochistan, Muhammad Hayat Kakakhel; Secretary PTA Balochistan, Waheed Sharif Umrani; and Deputy Collector Customs.
The seminar will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss the issue of smuggling in passenger buses and explore ways to prevent it. The event will also offer an opportunity for transporters, government officials, and other relevant stakeholders to share their experiences and expertise.
By organizing this seminar, the Transport Department aims to raise awareness about the issue of smuggling and its impact on the transportation system in Balochistan.
