A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Communications and Works, Lal Jan Jaffar, to review the progress of the Road Sector Phase-I of the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Projects. The meeting was attended by Project Coordinator Shahzad Hassan Jaffar, Chief Engineer Khuzdar Zone Khalilur Rehman Achakzai, Chief Engineer Loralai Zhob Zone Qazi Noor-ul-Haq, and engineers and officers from Khuzdar, Loralai, and Zhob zones.
During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the progress of all development projects under the Road Sector Phase-I. The Secretary Communications and Works emphasized that completing ongoing development projects within the financial year and ahead of schedule is the top priority of the department.
Lal Jan Jaffar stated that the completion of these projects in remote and backward areas of the province will pave the way for development and prosperity in these regions. He added that the projects will improve connectivity between these areas and cities, benefiting people from all walks of life. The Secretary Communications and Works emphasized that improving infrastructure and timely completion of development projects will bring development and prosperity to the province.
The meeting highlighted the importance of these projects in bringing socio-economic benefits to the people of Balochistan, particularly in remote and underdeveloped areas. The Secretary Communications and Works directed the concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of these projects, which will have a positive impact on the overall development of the province.
