QUETTA: A significant meeting was held at the Balochistan Constabulary Headquarters in Badr Line under the chairmanship of Additional IGP Agha Muhammad Yousaf, reviewing the province’s security situation in detail. The meeting focused on various operations and the performance of personnel.

 

During the meeting, the bravery of personnel in the recent Sherani attack was commended, which resulted in the enemy retreating and major damage being averted. Martyr Altaf Hussain has been recommended for QPM and PPM honors in recognition of his services. Additionally, cash awards and CCI certificates were announced for the martyred personnel and their teams.

 

The Additional IGP directed stricter security measures against anti-state activities and emphasized that the protection of Chinese and other foreign experts in the province should be a top priority. Attendance of all personnel will be monitored through a digital monitoring system.

 

Transparent procedures for transfers and postings were stressed, with provisions for exemptions for ill personnel. Zonal commanders were instructed to organize anti-riot courses and immediately report any shortages of required equipment. Personnel are to be trained through operational courses to be prepared for all challenging situations.

 

It was further instructed that no platoon should consist of fewer than 25 personnel, and weekly weapons and ammunition maintenance must be ensured.
