Acting President Gilani Distributes Relief Packages to Flood-Affected Families in Multan

MULTAN: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani attended as Chief Guest the distribution ceremony of essential relief packages for 300 flood-affected households, organized by the Farmers Development Organization (FDO) in collaboration with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), at Union Council Sher Shah, Multan.
Addressing the gathering, Gilani lauded the efforts of FDO and PPAF for supporting vulnerable communities in times of crisis. He emphasized that providing relief to disaster-hit families is a shared responsibility and assured that the government will continue to extend every possible support for their rehabilitation.
The Acting President also inspected the relief items being distributed among the families and appreciated the collaborative approach of civil society and development organizations in complementing government efforts.
