Afghan Repatriation Ensured with Dignity and Humanitarian Support

Loralai: Deputy Commissioner Loralai, Miran Baloch, reaffirmed that the repatriation of Afghan refugees is being carried out with full transparency, dignity, and humanitarian assistance in line with federal and provincial government directives.

 

Speaking at a meeting with transport unions, Afghan elders, and officials, he said relief camps, registration points, medical services, food supplies, and transport facilities have been arranged at the Chaman border to ensure a smooth process. He emphasized that each individual is treated with respect and Islamic brotherhood, urging residents to cooperate for a peaceful repatriation process.

 

Quetta Administration Cracks Down on Illegal Practices, 13 Arrested

 

Quetta: District Administration Quetta launched a major operation across the city and suburbs against price violators, illegal plastic bags, butchers, milk sellers, and encroachers.

 

During the drive, 87 shops were inspected, 13 people arrested, 5 jailed, and 125 kilograms of banned plastic bags seized. Five shops were sealed, while fines were imposed on 13 shopkeepers.

 

The crackdown, led by Special Magistrates in Sariab, City, Kuchlak, and Sadar sub-divisions, covered Sariab Road, Brewery Road, Gawalmandi, Meezan Chowk, Kuchlak Bazaar, Nawan Killi, Burma Hotel, and other areas. Officials vowed to continue strict enforcement for public convenience and rule of law.

 

Chaman AC Warns Hoarders, Price Violators During Market Inspection

 

Chaman: Assistant Commissioner Chaman, Imtiaz Ali Baloch, inspected markets with Levies personnel and Naib Tehsildar Ahmed Khan, checking food items, beverages, flour dealers, and general stores.

 

He warned against hoarding, arbitrary pricing, and sale of expired items, stressing that violators of official price lists or hygiene SOPs will face strict legal action. Dealers were directed to comply fully with government-notified flour prices.
