Bugti vows justice, says martyr’s sacrifice will guide struggle for peace
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has strongly condemned the assassination of Assistant Commissioner Ziarat Muhammad Afzal, calling the attack cowardly and brutal.
Paying tribute to the slain officer, Bugti said Afzal was a dedicated and honest public servant who made the ultimate sacrifice while performing his duties. “He will forever live in the hearts of the people,” the CM stated.
He assured the bereaved family of full provincial government support and pledged that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. “The sacrifices of our martyrs are a guiding light in the journey toward peace and stability in Balochistan,” Bugti added.
Balochistan CM Inaugurates Local Library in Sui, Donates 200 Books to Promote Education
Sui, 21 September 2025: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti inaugurated a local library in Sui, presenting a valuable gift of 200 books to support the promotion of knowledge and literature.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister emphasized that books symbolize light, awareness, and progress, and that cultivating a reading habit among the youth lays the foundation for positive thinking, purposeful lives, and a brighter future. He stated that the provincial government prioritizes the development of educational institutions and libraries to empower Balochistan’s youth through the power of knowledge.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti urged young people to embrace books as a source of guidance and success, rather than relying on unverified information from social media, highlighting the importance of accessing accurate and quality knowledge. He assured that initiatives to expand opportunities for education and research across Sui and other areas of Balochistan would continue.
The inauguration was attended by Mir Aftab Khan Bugti, Chairman District Council Dera Bugti, Wadera Ghulam Nabi Shambhani, Chairman Municipal Committee Sui Izzat Aman Bugti, Deputy Commissioner Dera Bugti Zohaib Hassan, and other senior officials.
