Sindh Declares Holiday in 14 Districts for LG By-Elections on Sept 24
All schools, government offices, and other institutions in these areas will remain closed on polling day
KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on September 24 in connection with local government by-elections in 14 districts. A notification has been issued for closure of schools in the respective constituencies.
According to the education department, letters have been sent to district education officers and the Directorate of Private Schools regarding the holiday.

The districts where schools and institutions will remain closed include Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Matiari, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Badin, Thatta, Karachi West, Karachi East, and Keamari.
All schools, government offices, and other institutions in these areas will remain closed on polling day.
