Pashtun Culture Day Inspires Youth to Honor Ancestral Legacy: Syed Sardar Khundai

Chaman (Special Report) – Pashtun Culture Day was celebrated with zeal and fervor at Iqra Ilmi Markaz High School Chaman, highlighting the rich heritage and traditions of the Pashtun nation. The event was graced by the institution’s head and senior journalist, Syed Sardar Muhammad Khundai.

The school’s Girls’ and Boys’ sections hosted vibrant programs. In the Girls’ section, hundreds of students showcased a scientific exhibition alongside patriotic songs and speeches. Meanwhile, the Boys’ section featured engaging speech competitions, traditional Pashtun Attan dance performances, and cultural songs.

Addressing the audience, Syed Sardar Muhammad Khundai emphasized that Pashtun Culture Day reminds the community to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors and recognize the sacrifices made for the Pashtun nation. He highlighted that the day, observed annually on September 23, aims to preserve Pashtun language, literature, customs, and values while connecting the younger generation to their glorious history.

“Pashtun culture is globally renowned for hospitality, bravery, honor, loyalty, and dignity,” he said. “This celebration is not just about tradition; it is about taking pride in our nation, language, and values. By embracing our heritage and prioritizing education, we pave the way for a brighter future.”

The celebrations concluded with students being served biryani, and cash prizes were awarded to outstanding participants.
