Balochistan Government Withdraws Old Notifications, Issues Fresh Ones under Levies Amendment Act 2025

Quetta, 23 September 2025 – The Government of Balochistan has withdrawn all previous notifications issued under the Levies Act 2010 regarding the merger of Levies. Following the approval of the Levies Amendment Act 2025 by the Provincial Assembly, all matters concerning the Levies Force will now be governed under the new law. Fresh notifications are being issued to ensure legal compliance and provide clarity. The Home Department emphasized that the new legal framework will enhance institutional efficiency, improve public service delivery, and align the Levies system with updated legislation.
