SSGC Organizes Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Gathering on the Occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal

KARACHI: In keeping with its tradition, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) organized a soulful Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering to mark the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The event was held on Tuesday, September 24, 2025, at the company’s Head Office Auditorium in Karachi, where a large number of employees participated. The program was arranged by the Corporate Communication Department (CCD) with support from the Administration and Services Department.
The gathering began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by former employee Qari Raees Ahmed, followed by heartwarming naat recitations by renowned naat khawans Qari Asad-ul-Haq and Muhammad Faisal Hasan Naqshbandi, along with SSGC’s own Shakeel Ahmed. The audience deeply appreciated their soulful renditions. The program was gracefully hosted by former SSGC Executive Muhammad Ali Gohar, while Deputy General Manager CCD Salman Ahmed Siddiqui welcomed the distinguished guests.
Renowned Islamic scholar, Allama Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan, was invited as the keynote speaker. In his impactful address, he highlighted the timeless beauty and guidance found in the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He emphasized the Prophet’s ﷺ exemplary attributes of tolerance, forgiveness, patience, and compassion, urging everyone to adopt these qualities in their daily lives to bring about positive change.
On behalf of the company, SGM HR & MS Syed Asghar Ali Shah presented floral bouquets and souvenirs to the distinguished guests. The gathering concluded with an emotional prayer led by Mufti Najeeb Khan.
