Islamabad, Sept 25, – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed gratitude to the people of Sindh for the party’s resounding victory in the Sindh by-elections 2025, crediting the success to the trust of citizens in the PPP’s legacy and policies.

Bilawal congratulated the newly elected representatives and praised the dedication of PPP workers. “From Karachi to Kashmore, citizens have reiterated their unwavering trust in the Peoples Party through their votes,” he said, calling the by-election results a reaffirmation of the bond between the people and the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Commitment to Democracy and Citizens’ Rights
The PPP chairman stated that every vote for the party was an endorsement of its mission to safeguard democratic principles, protect citizens’ rights, and build a progressive and prosperous Pakistan. He stressed that the mandate would further strengthen PPP’s resolve to serve the people with greater zeal and dedication.
Focus on Local Governance and Development
Bilawal highlighted the importance of a strong local government system in Sindh, describing it as a vital tool for ensuring equitable distribution of resources and sustainable community development. He said the PPP’s grassroots governance model had become a benchmark for other political parties in Pakistan.
In contrast, Bilawal pointed out that the absence of functional local governments in Punjab had weakened disaster response, particularly during floods, where effective local bodies could have provided immediate assistance to victims.
