Quetta, Sep. 30, : In the wake of recent violent incidents in Quetta, over 100 units of blood have been delivered to hospitals across the city, confirmed Dr. Afzal Zarkoon, Director of the Regional Blood Center (RBC). He stated that RBC currently has over 100 blood units in stock and is fully prepared to respond to any emergency. The public is encouraged to donate blood at any of the city’s blood centers to support victims.
Meanwhile, security authorities reported that five terrorists attempting to breach the FC Headquarters were neutralized. Initial information indicates that a suicide attacker rammed an explosives-laden Suzuki vehicle into the entrance of the FC Headquarters, followed by terrorists in a white van attempting to enter the premises. Security forces successfully prevented the attack, neutralizing all five terrorists.
Officials confirmed that the attackers targeted innocent civilians, causing casualties among people heading to the city for their daily activities. The swift response of security personnel prevented a potentially larger tragedy.
