Held over the past week, the summit provided a landmark platform for academia, industry, and government leaders to finalize strategies for a highly skilled workforce, modern technical education, and cutting-edge technology transfer initiatives.
According to a report by Gwadar Pro, the Pakistani delegation, comprising prominent government officials and education leaders, emphasized the urgent need to modernize agricultural and technical education to leverage China’s technological expertise and innovation in agriculture.

Nadir Chattha, Secretary of the Skills Development Government of Punjab, highlighted the importance of international-standard vocational courses to create high-value employment opportunities for Pakistani youth. He stressed that aligning training programs with Chinese industry requirements is critical for successful job placements.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, emphasized joint curricula, dual-certification programs, and international accreditation to enhance workforce readiness.
Punjab TEVTA officials underscored the integration of Chinese language, digital skills, and modern technological competencies into vocational training programs.
Delegates outlined plans for large-scale student and faculty exchanges, further strengthening bilateral educational and technological cooperation.
On the agricultural front, Dr. Tanveer Ahmad of MNS University of Agriculture, Multan, highlighted collaboration in high-yield horticulture, cotton seed development, climate-resilient farming, and innovative farming methods suited to Pakistan’s diverse ecological zones.

ITMC Technology confirmed support by providing digital infrastructure and precision agriculture software, facilitating Pakistan’s transition toward Smart Agriculture.
The summit concluded with the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), paving the way for joint innovation centers, faculty training programs, and immersive student exchange initiatives in the coming year.
