DC Usta Muhammad Visits Press Club, Assures Renovation and Facilities for Journalists

Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad, Abdul Razzaq Khajjak, visited the Usta Muhammad Press Club (Registered) and inspected its deteriorated building. During the visit, he met with the club’s president, Ali Hassan Domki, and senior journalists.

Journalists briefed the DC on the poor condition of the press club building, shortage of facilities, and other key issues faced by the media fraternity. Tehsildar Usta Muhammad Ali Gohar Magsi, Zubair Ahmed Qureshi, and Babu Abdul Rahman Dinari were also present.

Listening attentively to the concerns, DC Abdul Razzaq Khajjak assured that all legitimate issues of journalists would be resolved on a priority basis. He pledged immediate renovation of the press club building along with the provision of essential facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that journalism is the fourth pillar of society and journalists play a vital role in strengthening democratic values. He reaffirmed that the district administration would fully cooperate with the journalist community to enable them to perform their constructive role more effectively.

The visit was also attended by senior journalists including Chakar Khan Dinari, Muhammad Hanif Baloch, Abdullah Magsi, Muhammad Rafiq Pindrani, Qurban Ali Chohan, Sona Jamali, Abdul Fattah Rind, Ghazi Khan Teena, Abid Ali, Waheed Ali, and others. The journalists welcomed the DC’s visit, expressing hope that concrete measures would be taken to promote journalism and ensure the safety of media professionals.
