Mir Bilal Sadiq Umrani Elected Chairman of Nasirabad Market Committee, Ghulam Hussain Rand as Vice Chairman

The elections for the Nasirabad Market Committee have been successfully concluded, with Pakistan Peoples Party’s Divisional President Mir Bilal Sadiq Umrani elected unopposed as Chairman and Ghulam Hussain Rand elected unopposed as Vice Chairman.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Masood Ahmed Baloch, Director General of Agriculture Extension, Balochistan, with the participation of senior officials including SSP Nasirabad, Assistant Commissioner Dera Murad Jamali, Chief Officer Municipal Committee, Director Market Quetta, and other political, tribal, and community leaders.
Speaking at the event, DG Agriculture Extension Masood Ahmed Baloch highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to develop Balochistan’s green belt. He confirmed that approval has been granted for a new 40-acre market committee in Nasirabad, with PC-1 already prepared, opening new avenues for local development and prosperity.
Addressing the gathering, newly elected Chairman Mir Bilal Sadiq Umrani pledged to work closely with committee members and traders to make the market committee more organized and effective. He emphasized the unique role of Nasirabad Market, established in 1999, and the green belt’s contribution to food production across the province and the country.
Chairman Umrani assured that efforts would continue to ensure that all local produce reaches every corner of Pakistan, strengthening farmers and traders alike. During the ceremony, former Provincial Assembly member Mir Haider Khan Jamali and other dignitaries felicitated the newly elected Chairman and Vice Chairman with floral garlands.
