Islamabad (Special Report):
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted six major operations across the country, seizing a total of 49.283 kilograms of drugs worth over PKR 4.1 million and arresting seven suspects, including one woman and an Afghan national.
International Drug Interdiction:
At Islamabad Airport, 90 ice-filled capsules weighing 683 grams were recovered from the abdomen of a passenger traveling to Muscat, Oman.
In another operation at Islamabad Airport, 29,400 Diazepam tablets weighing 8.5 kilograms were seized from a passenger’s luggage bound for the UK.

Domestic Drug Interdiction:
Near Ring Road, Peshawar, 500 grams of ice were recovered from a vehicle, and an Afghan national was arrested.
Near Bahria Town, Lahore, 30 kilograms of hashish were seized from a car and a motorcyclist; two suspects were arrested.
Inter-Provincial Drug Interdiction:
Near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, Attock, 7.2 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a truck, and one individual was apprehended.
Near Motorway Toll Plaza, Peshawar, 2.4 kilograms of hashish were seized from the possession of a female suspect.
All cases have been registered under the CNSA Act 1997, and investigations are ongoing.
The ANF spokesperson emphasized that operations against drug smuggling and narcotics-related crimes will continue nationwide to curb the menace of drugs in Pakistan.
