Excise Jaffarabad Foils Major Drug Smuggling Attempt in Usta Muhammad — Huge Quantity of Heroin and Charas Seized
Usta Muhammad (Staff Report) — The Excise and Narcotics Department Jaffarabad has successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics to Sindh during a major operation in Usta Muhammad.
A suspect has been arrested, and a large quantity of heroin and charas has been recovered from his possession.
According to details, acting on the special directives of Director General Excise Balochistan Muhammad Ramzan, the operation was carried out under the supervision of District Excise and Narcotics Officer Jaffarabad, Javed Baloch.
Excise personnel, acting on a tip-off, intercepted the smuggling attempt and seized the drugs before they could be transported out of the district.
The arrested suspect has been shifted to Jaffarabad for further investigation.
The successful operation has been widely appreciated by local residents, who praised the efficiency and vigilance of the Excise Police in combating drug trafficking.
