Quetta, October 7, 2025: Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, stated that while the province has limited resources, the number of challenges is high, making it impossible to resolve all public issues simultaneously. Nevertheless, the government is committed to addressing public concerns through conscious and coordinated efforts.

Governor Mandokhel made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation led by prominent businessman Sadiq Khan Adwazi. He emphasized that from border trade to industry, commerce, higher education, and youth employment, the government not only listens carefully to the public’s problems but also alerts relevant authorities for timely action.

He highlighted Chaman and Taftan as two vital border trade hubs in Balochistan, providing livelihoods for thousands. “The current government is determined to promote border trade and stimulate economic activity across the province,” he said. The Governor assured that public complaints would be addressed promptly, with border trade seen as a key driver of provincial prosperity.

Later, Governor Mandokhel met a delegation from the Central Traders Association Chaman, led by Habibullah Achakzai, which briefed him on the challenges faced by local traders. Responding, the Governor acknowledged that Chaman is home to many nationally prominent businessmen, who could contribute significantly to provincial development by establishing new factories and industries and providing employment to youth.

On a query about city infrastructure, Governor Mandokhel assured that load-shedding in Chaman will be eliminated and clean water supply will be ensured.
