CM Balochistan Honors Security Forces for Daraban Operation, Pays Tribute to Martyred Major Sabtain Haider

Quetta, October 9, 2025 – Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, paid tribute to security forces for their successful operation against insurgents in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan. He honored the bravery of the martyred officer, Major Sabtain Haider, who sacrificed his life defending the nation.

The Chief Minister described Major Haider as a courageous son of Quetta whose sacrifice elevated the pride of the entire nation. He said that such sacrifices reinforce the nation’s resolve against terrorism and expressed confidence that the security forces, including the Army, FC, and police, will continue to ensure peace and stability. He reaffirmed that the people of Balochistan stand alongside the armed forces and that the sacrifices of martyrs guarantee a safe and prosperous future.
