Pakistan Will Not Compromise on National Security: Balochistan CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta, October 12 —
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed that Pakistan prioritizes peace, mutual respect, and regional stability, but will never compromise on national defense or border security.

He said Pakistan has always been a peace-loving and responsible nation, seeking friendly ties with its neighbors. However, any cross-border aggression or terrorist activity from Afghan soil will receive a firm and effective response from the Pakistan Army.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand united with their Armed Forces, describing national unity as the strongest shield against external threats.

He expressed concern over the presence of terrorist groups across the Afghan border, terming it a serious challenge to regional peace and stability. The Chief Minister urged the Afghan authorities to realize that such actions threaten peace across the region.

He reiterated that the people, government, and institutions of Balochistan are fully aligned with Pakistan’s national security narrative and will never bow to external pressure or hostile agendas.
