Gulistan, October 12, — The Excise, Taxation & Anti-Narcotics Department and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) continued their fifth day of operations in Tehsil Gulistan, successfully destroying 135 acres of illicit narcotic crops in areas including Karez, Khargai, and Aghbergai.
According to the department’s spokesperson, 105 acres were destroyed on the spot while 30 acres dried out due to water shortage. This brings the total eradicated area in District Killa Abdullah to 1,744 acres.
One FIR was lodged during the recent operation, raising the total number of registered cases in the district to 19. Officials reaffirmed that these joint operations reflect the government’s comprehensive strategy to eliminate drug cultivation in Balochistan.
The department stated that the ongoing campaign is weakening the networks involved in drug production and contributing to peace, stability, and social development in the region.
