IG Balochistan Calls for Modern Technology in Counterterrorism and Commends Police Dedication

Quetta, October 12, 2025: In a significant address to officers and personnel at the Police Darbar in Qila Saifullah, Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, emphasized the critical role of modern technology in combating terrorism and criminal activities. He acknowledged that maintaining law and order in the province is no small challenge, but praised Balochistan Police for performing efficiently despite limited resources and manpower.

During his visit, IG Muhammad Tahir personally listened to the concerns of police officers and personnel, assuring them that their issues would be resolved on a priority basis. He also commended the police force for their past sacrifices and affirmed that they remain committed to serving the province without hesitation.

Qila Saifullah DPO Shah Rukh and other senior officers warmly welcomed IG Muhammad Tahir, and a ceremonial salute was presented by the district’s police contingent, reflecting the high regard in which he is held.
