The University of Turbat (UoT) has achieved a significant milestone in ensuring academic and institutional excellence, with its Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) recording a remarkable improvement in the Annual Performance Evaluation Report 2023–2024.

According to details, UoT’s QEC secured an impressive score of 69.64 out of 100, reflecting a 6-point increase from the previous year’s score of 64. This achievement was officially recognized in a recent notification issued by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) — a subsidiary body of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

This milestone marks a notable achievement for the young and rapidly emerging University of Turbat, highlighting its consistent commitment to academic excellence, quality education, and strong institutional governance since its establishment.

The statement further emphasizes that the University of Turbat’s adherence to HEC’s quality policies and guidelines through its active QEC has been instrumental in achieving this progress.

According to a university spokesperson, the success reflects the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Gul Hassan, the dedication of academic and administrative staff, and the tireless efforts of the QEC team led by Dr. Riaz Ahmed.

The spokesperson added that the improvement in QEC’s overall score is the result of teamwork, faculty commitment, and administrative efficiency. The QEC’s score rising from 64 to nearly 70 demonstrates measurable growth and indicates that the university’s quality enhancement initiatives are on the right track.

Congratulating the university community, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Gul Hassan said that the University of Turbat is progressing in the right direction, and with the continued cooperation of faculty and administration, it will soon be ranked among the leading universities of Pakistan.
