FC Balochistan Pays Tribute to Martyred Railway Worker Imdad Khokhar in Naseerabad

NASEERABAD, Oct 14, — Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan officials paid rich tribute to martyred railway worker Imdad Khokhar, who sacrificed his life to prevent a deadly explosion on a railway track near Dera Murad Jamali, saving dozens of passengers aboard the Jaffar Express.

Commandant Sui Rifles Colonel Usman Aslam, Wing Commander 114 Wing Lt. Colonel Rizwan Ahmed Tayyab, Commissioner Naseerabad Salahuddin Noorzai, Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Kakar, and DIG Naseerabad Captain (R) Asim Khan, along with other FC officers, visited the martyr’s home to offer condolences to the bereaved family.

Colonel Usman Aslam hailed Imdad Khokhar as a true national hero, saying, “The sacrifices of martyrs are the real strength of a nation. Heroes like Imdad Khokhar elevate the nation’s pride through their courage and selflessness.”

He announced financial assistance of PKR 300,000 for the martyr’s family and promised government employment for one family member. FC officials also assured that the families of martyrs will never be left alone and that the force will continue to support them in every possible way.

According to details, the brave railway employee acted swiftly to stop the train and save passengers, confronting the sabotage attempt without regard for his own safety. His sacrifice prevented a major tragedy, ensuring the safety of many lives.

Local citizens and social organizations commended the FC’s gesture and stated that Imdad Khokhar’s sacrifice will be remembered in golden words in the nation’s history as a symbol of courage, duty, and patriotism.
