A meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti reviewed the implementation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and the provincial government, and progress on the Sui Master Plan. Officials from PPL, energy departments, and field project teams participated.
MD PPL Sikandar Ali Memon presented a detailed briefing on MoU execution and master plan progress. Bugti affirmed that the province’s natural resources are entrusted to its people, and benefits from these must reach local communities in education, health, employment, and infrastructure.
He directed that all aims within the MoUs be implemented promptly and that public interest be prioritized in the master plan. Bugti said the plan is essential for local economic self-reliance, through expansion of development projects and energy initiatives in and around Sui. He stressed transparency, resource sharing, and partnership between PPCL and provincial bodies to unlock Balochistan’s broader potential.
