In a robust display of preparedness and tactical response, the Pakistan Army successfully repelled coordinated attacks by Afghan Taliban and Fitna Al Khwarij in the Spin Boldak area of Balochistan and Kurram Sector, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Multiple Taliban positions were destroyed, and significant enemy casualties were reported. The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Details:
In the early hours of October 15, 2025, Afghan Taliban launched attacks at four locations in the Spin Boldak area near Chaman. Pakistani Forces responded decisively, neutralizing 15–20 Taliban militants and causing multiple injuries. The attackers also destroyed the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate on their side, highlighting their disregard for local communities and cross-border trade.
Simultaneously, on the night of October 14–15, Taliban and Fitna Al Khwarij targeted Pakistani border posts in Kurram Sector. The Pakistan Army countered effectively, destroying eight enemy posts, including six tanks, and inflicting heavy losses, with 25–30 militants reportedly killed.
The ISPR clarified that claims of Pakistani initiation of the attacks or capture of posts and equipment are false and propaganda-driven. Pakistani Armed Forces remain fully prepared to respond decisively to any act of aggression.
