The Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute (PCT&VI) at the University of Gwadar (UG) has approved new skill-based programs including boat making, boat engine repair, solar and general electrical work, mobile repairing, and logistics & supply chain management, during its third Board of Studies meeting.

Chaired by Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Executive Director PCT&VI, the meeting focused on updating curricula to meet emerging industry needs. The existing Mechatronics program was replaced with a Robotic Engineering program, reaffirming PCT&VI’s commitment to modern, industry-aligned education.

Admissions for all new and ongoing programs will open soon, creating fresh opportunities for youth from Gwadar, Makran and surrounding areas.

PCT&VI recently launched short courses in AI, e-commerce, freelancing, Python, and mobile app development under CPEC cooperation, with strong participation from female students — marking a positive shift toward inclusive technical education in Balochistan.
