Quetta, October 19, 2025 – Hayat Khan Achakzai, Provincial Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan, expressed deep sorrow and shock over the tragic killing of Waleed Saleh Baloch, brother of National Party central leader and Balochistan Assembly member Mir Rahmat Saleh Baloch.
Hayat Khan Achakzai strongly condemned the brutal and cowardly act, calling it not only a great loss to the family but also a shameful attempt to undermine peace and stability in Balochistan. He described the attack as a failed attempt to intimidate political workers and their families, orchestrated by forces opposing the province’s development and prosperity.
He urged for an immediate, transparent, and impartial investigation into the incident and called for the swift arrest and prosecution of the culprits. PPP Balochistan prayed for the departed soul and for patience and resilience for the bereaved family, particularly Mir Rahmat Saleh Baloch.
Achakzai affirmed that PPP Balochistan stands in full solidarity with the National Party and reiterated its commitment to continue working for peace, justice, and prosperity in the province.
