Panjgur, October 19, 2025 — Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Makran Range, Mr. Parvez Khan Umrani, conducted an extensive visit to Sarikoran and Tasp police stations in District Panjgur on Saturday, accompanied by Superintendent of Police (SP) Panjgur, Captain (R) Dost Muhammad Bugti.
During the visit, the DIG thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements and issued directives for enhanced vigilance and operational efficiency in light of the prevailing security situation in the region.
DIG Umrani also briefed police personnel on the overall law and order situation in Panjgur, particularly addressing the recent attacks on the Tasp Police Station, potential threats, and the importance of ensuring the safety and protection of public lives and property.
He emphasized the need for strong inter-unit coordination and heightened alertness across all police formations.
In his directives, DIG Umrani instructed officers to:
Ensure comprehensive patrolling throughout the district.
Conduct effective checking of vehicles and individuals at all checkpoints.
Immediately identify and verify suspicious persons.
Intensify efforts for crime prevention and investigation.
The DIG appreciated the dedication of police personnel and reiterated that maintaining peace and public confidence remains the top priority of the Makran Police.
