QUETTA, October 20, 2025 — Strong tremors were felt in Barkhan and the adjoining area of Rakhni on Monday afternoon, causing panic among residents who rushed out of their homes and shops reciting the Kalimah Tayyibah.

According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 5.0 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 15 kilometers below the surface. The epicenter was located approximately 39 kilometers northeast of Rakhni.
